The filming has begun for the Series 7 Christmas special. Plus we have our usual twitter spies using the #DWSR tag to give us all of the latest news from on set.

@RyanFarr is reporting that filming is located at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff where Matt Smith, Richard E Grant and a cloaked actor have been spotted going in and out of the building in Victorian clothes. However the most interesting spot was from this tweet:

So is Madame Vastra returning or are the Silurian’s returning as bad guys? People have also been suggesting (purely speculation) that the new companion Clara is somehow linked to Vastra and Jenny with them appearing in future episodes. It will be interesting to see what we will find out over the next few days.
