Caro Skinner has confirmed via SFX that the Ice Warriors will be returning in the Mark Gatiss Penned 8th episode (the 3rd of 7B) set within a submarine. Long rumoured to be returning and possibly seen in the trailer (see below). This would mark the return of the ice warriors last seen in 1974 in the episodes “The Monster of Peladon” and recently referenced in the episode “The waters of Mars”.
